THE WILSON'S PROMONTORY:
Wilson's Promontory is the southern most tip of the Australian mainland. First reserved for a national park back in 1898, it is now one of the best-loved and most popular national parks.


Surrounded on three sides by sea and covering an area of 50,380 hectares, this park shelters more than 700 native plant species, 30 kinds of mammals, approximately 180 species of birds and various species of reptiles and insects.
